Hi, we're Canada Web Works.
We've spent nearly a decade building websites for businesses — first as a Webflow developer, then as a marketing lead for B2B software companies. We started Canada Web Works because we kept seeing the same problem: local businesses with great work and no web presence to match.
We're based in Nanaimo. When you work with us, you work directly with the people building your site — not an account manager, not a ticket queue. We answer our own phone.

It depends on what you need, which is why every project starts with a free consultation. After I understand your business and goals, you get a fixed, itemized quote in writing. No surprise invoices, no hourly-billing anxiety.
How long does a new website take?
Most new sites launch in 2 to 4 weeks from the kickoff. The timeline depends on how quickly we can gather your content and how many pages you need. You'll know the timeline up front, in writing.
Who owns the website when it's done?
You do — the domain, the content, and the design are yours. If we part ways later, your site and everything that makes it run comes with you. No hostage-taking.
Can I update the site myself?
Yes. I build sites that are easy to manage, and I'll show you how. If you'd rather not touch it, ongoing maintenance and content updates are available as a simple monthly plan.
Will my site show up on Google?
Your site will be built to follow current technical SEO best practices, and I'll set up the basics — proper headings, local business markup, fast loading. For deeper local search work, we can add it as an ongoing service.
What happens after the site launches?
You get a handover walkthrough, and I'm available for support. Many clients keep me on a small monthly plan for updates, backups, and improvements so the site keeps working for them.
